Creating my first collection with MAC cosmetics was a dream come true, and I wanted to tribute the 15th year of my career with a uniformity that allowed me to sketch on my iPad the same portraits that define each year. I was so happy with the outcome of everything that I made them part of the sticker collection! I started off with a cut out function on photoshop of the original images and scaled it to a larger resolution. I then used that image as a bases and redrew over the whole image with the notes feature built in to an iPad. I covered this recently in my Domestika course. I used the pencil to add texture, the marker to create bold strokes and the shading was layered using transparency. I wanted to create a retro feel as the inspirations came from my grandmas sticker collection, and that foil 80s look was always amazing to me. I hope you enjoy them.
